Union Public Service Commission has activated the One-Time Registration (OTR) facility for UPSC exams. OTR is mandatory for all candidates applying for Civil Services and other UPSC recruitments. Candidates must complete OTR on the official UPSC portal before submitting any application forms on sarkari result info.

Application Fee
- General / OBC : ₹100/- (per exam application)
- SC / ST / PwD / Female : No Fee
- OTR Registration: No Fee (Registration is free for all candidates)
- Fee to be paid online via Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI at time of exam application.
Age Limit & Selection Process
- Age Limit for UPSC CSE: Minimum 21 years, Maximum 32 years (as on 01/08/2025)
- Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, up to 10 years for PwBD, and other categories as per Govt. rules
- Selection Process: Prelims (Objective), Mains (Written), Interview (Personality Test)
- Note: OTR is mandatory prior to applying for any UPSC exam
Salary & Pay Scale Details
- IAS/IPS/IFS (Group A Services): Pay Level 10 (₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500) at entry + DA, HRA, TA, Medical, Pension
- Other Services: Pay scales as per 7th Pay Commission for respective posts (CDS, NDA, CAPF, etc.)
